  • Short-term rental (STR) is defined as a rentable unit with one or more kitchens, bathrooms, and/or bedrooms that is rented for fewer than 30 consecutive days.
  • STRs must be located in specific zoning districts, including Mid-range Office MO(A), General Office GO(A), multifamily, central area, mixed use, multiple commercial, and urban corridor districts.
  • STRs must register with Code Compliance and pay fees.
  • Property inspections are required for STRs.
  • A Certificate of Occupancy must be obtained for STRs.
  • A local responsible party must be designated for each STR.
  • There is a limit of three persons per bedroom and a maximum of 12 guests for each STR.
  • Multi-tenant STR registrations are subject to percentage caps.
