Washoe County will be hosting two workshops to discuss proposed amendments to streamline and clarify permitting and enforcement processes for short term rentals.
The workshops will be held on November 15, 2023, at the Incline Village Library and on November 16, 2023, via Zoom.
New fees for short-term rental applications will go into effect on October 1, 2023.
The deadline for Short Term Rental Administrative Permit (Tier II) applications has been updated to the 8th of each month.
Building inspections for short-term rentals can now be scheduled online.
Fire restrictions are in effect in Incline Village and Crystal Bay, Nevada, prohibiting solid fuel burning and outdoor open flames during Red Flag Warnings.
Short-term rental permit renewals are now available and can be started 30 days before the permit expiration.
Instructions for paying for permits online have been posted.
