  • The 2023 Vacation Rental Fees have been set according to Resolution R23-786.
  • To apply for a Vacation Rental Registration, the following steps must be taken:
    • Complete and submit the Renewal Registration Form or New Vacation Rental Registration Form 1.
    • Complete and submit Form 2 and Form 3.
    • Pay the applicable fee.
    • Provide a copy of the Vacation Rental's current and active license as a transient public lodging establishment with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
    • Provide a copy of the Vacation Rental's current and active certificate of registration with the Florida Department of Revenue.
    • Provide evidence of the Vacation Rental's current and active account with the Manatee County Tax Collector.
    • Submit an exterior site sketch showing and identifying all structures, pools, spas, hot tubs, fencing, and uses, including areas for off-street parking with individual parking spaces identified.
    • Submit an interior building sketch by floor showing the layout of all bedrooms, other rooms, exits, hallways, and stairways.
    • Schedule an annual inspection by emailing [email protected]. Inspections will only be scheduled once all required payments and documents have been submitted.
  • There is an option to submit application forms and payment electronically.
